Welcome to Rheumatology and Arthritis Care Center where our personal goal is to provide personalised, compassionate state of the art care in a warm and respectful environment. I am Dr.Sucharitha Shanmugam, I have been caring for rheumatology patients for more than 10 years. It is my privilege to serve you and provide excellent care because you deserve the very best.

I continually strive to educate my patients on their condition, treatment choices and generalised well- being in an attempt to overcome disease and restore quality of life. I believe well- informed patients are better prepared to make decisions about their health. I strongly feel listening to patients, encouraging them to ask questions and always including them in the decision making process empowers them in their journey to wellness.

My goal is to treat the patient and not their disease. I always communicate with patients primary care doctors and specialists to create a coordinated and effective treatment plan.
To provide the best care is to provide timely care. I have created an Early Arthritis Referral Program with the mission to provide early access to patient with inflammation related arthritis before the disease can cause irreversible joint damage
